Our 65 acres are peaceful for plant enthusiasts, animal lovers, bird watchers, and entomologists. Here, the wildlife is flourishing, and the grounds provide a safe home for over 1,000 wild animals, enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience with Mother Nature.
Formerly known as Better Days Farm, owned and run by the Biskupich family as a "Boarding House", some of the children who came here when they were young, with fond memories bring their children back to see the rooms they once stayed in. The main house was built in 1925.
About the Area…
Nestled in the hamlet of Greenville along country Route 32, our property has clean and comfortable rooms. Set on 65 acres with majestic mountain views, you can walk down the path to the rolling brook where you can sit and enjoy the peace and quiet of a natural setting in the Catskill Mountains or stroll past the vineyard to see the fruits of our labor. You can also take a short drive into town to the local pond and relax under the gazebo while feeding the ducks, or just down the road to the north on route 32 is a roadside trivet antique shop where you can shop for trinkets and interesting antiques. To the east on route 81 you can travel to Coxsackie 9 miles to find a few antique barns and the Hudson River. A 16 mile drive on route 23 west to Windham Mountain is always a scenic pleasure that is well worth it. Just 5 miles southwest on Rt. 67 will take you to the Irish mecca of East Durham that hosts the annual Irish Festival on Memorial weekend, Irish Cultural week in July, Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival in July and don't forget Gavins every Columbus weekend with numerous Irish bands. About 5 miles away on route 67 is K&K Horse farm where there are horses for hire for the equestrian minded on 150 acres of mountain views. A short distance away you can get to Catskill for the weekend Riverside Farmers & Artisan Market or cross the Hudson River over the Rip Van Winkle bridge to historic Olana Castle and then on to Hudson for some antique shopping and the Firemen’s Museum. West on Rt. 81 towards Oak Hill and Middleburg and Schoharie will bring you to an abundance of antique shops, vegetable farms and beautiful scenery. For directions just inquire when checking-in.
